Red Raspberry + Clopidogrel
Clopidogrel brand name: Plavix.
Red Raspberry has a moderate interaction with Clopidogrel. Theoretically, taking red raspberry leaf with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs might increase the risk of bleeding.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Clopidogrel
Clopidogrel falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Red Raspberry interacts with.
In vitro research suggests that red raspberry leaf extract has antiplatelet activity and enhances the in vitro effects of the antiplatelet medication cangrelor. This interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version: clopidogrel (Plavix) is a blood thinner that keeps your platelets from sticking together and forming clots. Red raspberry leaf, in early lab studies, seems to have a mild platelet-blocking effect of its own. The worry is that stacking the two could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher, which might show up as easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that take longer to stop.
That said, this is theoretical. The concern comes only from test-tube research, not from real people, so we genuinely don't know if it matters in everyday life. An occasional cup of raspberry tea is unlikely to cause trouble. Still, since clopidogrel already affects clotting, I'd mention any regular raspberry leaf supplement use to your pharmacist or doctor first.

Its supported uses are acute coronary syndrome (including unstable angina, non-ST-elevation heart attack and ST-elevation heart attack), a recent heart attack, a recent stroke, and established peripheral arterial disease (narrowed arteries, usually in the legs).
