Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Ephedrine, Hydroxyzine, Theophylline
Ephedrine, Hydroxyzine, Theophylline falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Resveratrol interacts with.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
In this combination product, the ingredient I'd watch most is theophylline, because your body clears it using a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. Lab studies suggest resveratrol can slow that enzyme down. If that happened in people, theophylline could build up a bit, and since it has a narrow safe range, even small shifts can lead to side effects like a racing heart, jitteriness, nausea, trouble sleeping, or in larger amounts, tremors.
Here's the reassuring part: this is theoretical, coming only from test-tube research, and it has not actually been reported in people. The amounts in food are very unlikely to matter. Still, before starting a resveratrol supplement, check with your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on things.

About Resveratrol
What is Resveratrol?
- Heart and blood vessel health
- Antioxidant support
- Anti-aging
- Blood sugar and metabolic support
- General anti-inflammatory support
Resveratrol is a plant compound found in red grapes, berries, and peanuts that is popular for heart health, anti-aging, and antioxidant support. While lab and animal studies are promising, strong human evidence for most uses is still limited. It appears generally well tolerated in supplement doses, but talk with your pharmacist or doctor before starting it.
