Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Rue interacts with.

Theoretically, rue might increase the risk for phototoxicity when used with photosensitizing drugs.
Rue contains photosensitizing furanocoumarins and psoralens and has been associated with multiple reports of phototoxic reactions. There is also one case report of an increased phototoxic response to psoralen and ultraviolet A (PUVA) therapy associated with ingestion of rue.

Here's the thing to know about pairing rue with Combogesic (the acetaminophen and ibuprofen combo): the concern isn't about how your body breaks down the medicine. Instead, both rue and ibuprofen can each make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Rue carries natural compounds called furanocoumarins and psoralens, and ibuprofen is also known to occasionally cause sun-sensitivity reactions. Stack them together and, in theory, you could be more prone to an exaggerated sunburn, redness, or a rash on exposed skin.

I'll be honest, this is based on scattered case reports, not strong studies, so it's a possible rather than certain risk. Still, if you take rue and head outdoors, use sunscreen and cover up. Always run any herbal supplement by your pharmacist or doctor first.
