Irbesartan, Hydrochlorothiazide falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Rue interacts with.

Theoretically, rue might increase the risk for phototoxicity when used with photosensitizing drugs.
Rue contains photosensitizing furanocoumarins and psoralens and has been associated with multiple reports of phototoxic reactions. There is also one case report of an increased phototoxic response to psoralen and ultraviolet A (PUVA) therapy associated with ingestion of rue.

Here's the thing with this combo: your CoAprovel contains hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill that's already known to make some people more sensitive to sunlight. Rue brings its own sun-sensitizing compounds (furanocoumarins and psoralens) to the table. Stack the two together and, at least in theory, you could be more prone to sunburn, redness, or rashes after time outdoors, even on days that wouldn't normally bother you.

I'll be honest, this is based on scattered case reports rather than strong studies, so it's a possible concern, not a sure thing. Concentrated rue supplements are the bigger worry. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor, and either way, smart sun habits (sunscreen, hats, shade) go a long way.
