Here's the simple version: Saccharomyces boulardii is a live, beneficial yeast, and Amphotericin B is a powerful antifungal medicine that works by damaging the cell walls of fungi and yeasts. So the concern isn't that the probiotic changes how the drug works in your body. It's the other way around. The antifungal could kill off some of the very yeast you're trying to take, leaving the probiotic less effective.

I'll be honest with you, this is a theoretical concern based on how these two work, not something proven by strong studies, and it's rated as minor. Your Amphotericin B will still treat your infection normally. If you're fighting a serious fungal infection, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using this probiotic anyway, since live-yeast products aren't always a good fit for people who are very ill.
