Haloprogin falls under ANTIFUNGALS — the group Saccharomyces Boulardii interacts with.

Theoretically, taking antifungals with Saccharomyces boulardii might decrease the effectiveness of Saccharomyces boulardii.
S. boulardii is a live yeast. Therefore, simultaneously taking antifungals might kill a significant number of the organisms.

Here's the simple version. Haloprogin (Halotex) is an antifungal, and Saccharomyces boulardii is a friendly yeast you take as a probiotic. Since haloprogin's whole job is to kill fungi and yeast, the worry is that it could harm the live yeast in your probiotic and make it work less well. The probiotic isn't going to change how your haloprogin treats your skin, it's the other direction we'd think about.

In real life this is a small, mostly theoretical concern. Haloprogin is a topical cream you put on the skin, while S. boulardii works in your gut, so they don't usually cross paths. This isn't a dangerous combination. If you're taking the probiotic for diarrhea and using haloprogin on a fungal skin infection, just run it by your pharmacist to be safe.
