Schisandra + Flurbiprofen
Flurbiprofen brand names: Ansaid, Flurbiprofen, Froben, Flurprofen, Froben SR, and others.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Flurbiprofen
Flurbiprofen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Schisandra interacts with.
In vitro and animal research suggests that schisandra induces CYP2C9 enzymes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for flurbiprofen: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP2C9 to break it down and clear it out. Lab and animal studies hint that schisandra may rev that enzyme up (speed it along). If that happened in people, your flurbiprofen could be cleared a bit faster, which in theory might soften its benefit, so you may notice less relief from joint pain, swelling, or stiffness.
The honest part: this is only a theory from test tube and animal work. It has not been shown in humans, so the real-world impact is likely small for most folks. Flurbiprofen isn't a prodrug, so the direction here is reduced effect, not extra side effects. If you're leaning on it for arthritis and want to add schisandra, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Flurbiprofen page
“Anyone taking flurbiprofen (Ansaid), an NSAID pain reliever, should treat this list with genuine care, starting with the entries that pile onto the drug's own weak points, the stomach lining and the kidneys. Drinking alcohol, beer and wine both make the list, raises the chance of stomach bleeding beyond what any NSAID already carries,…”
