Here's the thing to know about iloprost (Ventavis): along with relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs, it also has a mild blood-thinning, anti-clotting effect on your platelets. Sweet Vernal Grass, when dried, can form a compound called dicoumarol that thins the blood too. So in theory, putting the two together could add up and make bleeding or easy bruising a bit more likely.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical concern based mostly on how these substances behave and on animal reports, not on solid human studies. The pleasant scent or small amounts aren't the worry; concentrated dried-grass supplements would be. Still, since iloprost already affects bleeding, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
