Omeprazole, Sodium Bicarbonate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Syrian Rue interacts with.

Theoretically, Syrian rue might increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Syrian rue contains beta-carboline alkaloids, including harmine, harmol, and harmane. In vitro research suggests that these beta-carboline alkaloids competitively inhibit CYP3A4 enzymes.

Here's the gist with this combo. Omeprazole (the active ingredient in Konvomep, paired with sodium bicarbonate) is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Syrian Rue's harmala compounds may slow that enzyme down a bit, at least in lab studies. If that happens in the body, omeprazole could hang around a little longer and its effects might be slightly stronger. With omeprazole that usually just means more of its usual mild side effects, like headache, nausea, gas, or diarrhea.

Honestly, this one is mostly theoretical, based on test-tube data, and omeprazole is also broken down by another enzyme (CYP2C19), so any real-world impact is likely small. The bigger concern is Syrian Rue's own toxicity. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
