Memantine, Donepezil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Tinospora Cordifolia interacts with.

Theoretically, Tinospora cordifolia might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro research shows that Tinospora cordifolia extract inhibits CYP2D6 at high concentrations. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Namzaric combines two Alzheimer's medicines: donepezil and memantine. The piece that matters here is donepezil, which your body partly clears using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Lab studies hint that Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) might slow that enzyme down, which could let donepezil build up a bit. Donepezil is not a prodrug, so more of it in your system tends to mean stronger effects and more side effects, things like nausea, diarrhea, slow heart rate, dizziness, or trouble sleeping.

That said, this is only a theory from test-tube research and has never been seen in real patients. Giloy has also been linked to liver injury, which is its own concern. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them rather than changing anything yourself.
