Here's the gist: Tribulus may have a mild blood sugar lowering effect of its own. When you stack that on top of Trulicity (dulaglutide), which is already working to bring your glucose down, the two can add up. The worry isn't with how dulaglutide is broken down. It's simply that both are nudging your sugar in the same direction, so you could dip a little lower than expected.

In practice that might look like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling unusually hungry or foggy, especially if you also take insulin or a sulfonylurea. Honestly, the evidence here is on the weaker side, mostly lab and small studies, so I wouldn't panic. Still, if you want to try Tribulus, check with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your home glucose readings.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
