Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Aspirin, Butalbital, Caffeine
Aspirin, Butalbital, Caffeine falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Vanadium interacts with.
In vitro research shows that the sodium orthovanadate form of vanadium prolongs clotting time, likely through inhibition of thrombin and factor Xa.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
The piece of Fiorinal we care about here is the aspirin. Aspirin already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping, which is why it can cause bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach irritation and bleeding. Vanadium, in lab studies, also seems to slow down clotting by interfering with a couple of clotting proteins (thrombin and factor Xa). Stack the two together and, in theory, you could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher.
I want to be honest about the evidence: this is based on test-tube research, not real people, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Vanadium isn't something most folks need anyway. Before adding a vanadium supplement, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Butalbital, Caffeine page
“The aspirin inside Fiorinal (aspirin, butalbital, caffeine) is the reason this list deserves careful reading rather than a quick skim. More than 200 of the supplements and herbs on file can thin the blood further and raise bleeding risk on top of aspirin's own antiplatelet effect, and even ordinary alcohol, beer and wine included, carr…”

About Vanadium
What is Vanadium?
- Blood sugar and diabetes support
- Athletic performance and muscle building
- Lowering cholesterol
- General trace-mineral supplementation
Vanadium is a trace mineral found in tiny amounts in food, and people get plenty from a normal diet. Supplement claims for diabetes, weight, and athletic performance are not well proven, and higher doses can be toxic. Most people do not need to supplement it, and you should check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it.
About Aspirin, Butalbital, and Caffeine
What Is Aspirin, Butalbital, and Caffeine Used For?
Brand name: Fiorinal
Butalbital, aspirin, and caffeine capsules are used to relieve the symptom complex of tension headache — also called muscle contraction headache. This includes headache pain, psychic tension, and muscle tightness in the head, neck, and shoulders.
This medicine is intended for short-term use. Evidence supporting its safety and effectiveness for repeated or long-term use in recurrent headaches is not available, and extended use is not recommended because butalbital can be habit-forming.
