Hydralazine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Vitamin B6 interacts with.

Theoretically, vitamin B6 may have additive effects when used with antihypertensive drugs.
Research in hypertensive rats shows that vitamin B6 can decrease systolic blood pressure. Similarly, clinical research in patients with hypertension shows that taking high doses of vitamin B6 may reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure, possibly by reducing plasma levels of epinephrine and norepinephrine.

Here's the gist: hydralazine works by relaxing your blood vessels to bring blood pressure down. Vitamin B6, especially in high supplement doses, may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own, possibly by trimming levels of certain stress hormones like adrenaline. Stacked together, the two could nudge your numbers a little lower than either one alone.

This isn't a dangerous combo for most people, and the evidence here is fairly limited. But if your pressure dips too far, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, or get a racing or pounding heartbeat (something hydralazine can already cause). Food amounts of B6 are very unlikely to matter. If you want to take a high-dose B6 supplement, check with your pharmacist or doctor first so they can keep an eye on your readings.

Hydralazine tablets are used to treat essential hypertension (high blood pressure), either alone or alongside other blood pressure medications.

The hydrALAZINE Hydrochloride injection form is used in hospital settings for severe essential hypertension when oral medication cannot be taken or when blood pressure needs to be lowered urgently.
