Divitren combines two hormones, estradiol (an estrogen) and medroxyprogesterone (a progestin), and it's usually taken to ease menopause symptoms or steady your cycle. Here's the concern with chasteberry (Vitex): this herb gently nudges your own hormone signals, partly by affecting prolactin and other reproductive hormones. In theory, that tug-of-war could work against the hormones in your medication, possibly making it less effective. You might notice symptoms creeping back, like hot flashes, mood swings, or irregular bleeding.

I want to be honest about how strong this evidence is: it's mostly theoretical, based on lab and animal studies, not real patient reports. So it's worth a conversation, not a panic. Before adding Vitex, please check with your doctor or pharmacist so they can weigh it for your situation.
