Here's the idea behind this one. Zuclopenthixol (Clopixol) calms symptoms of psychosis mainly by blocking dopamine in the brain. Vitex, on the other hand, is thought to nudge dopamine activity in the opposite direction. So in theory, taking the two together could work against each other and make your medication a little less effective. That might show up as the return or worsening of symptoms the medication usually keeps in check.

I want to be straight with you, though: this concern comes only from lab and animal research, not from real patients, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, if you're stable on Clopixol, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Vitex, rather than starting it on your own.
