Wormwood is a very bitter herb traditionally used to stimulate appetite and ease digestion, and it has early research interest in Crohn's disease. It contains thujone, which can be toxic in large amounts, so it should only be used short-term in controlled doses. About Ursodiol

What Is Ursodiol Used For?

Brand name: Actigall

Ursodiol capsules (including Reltone, Ursolign, and generic ursodiol capsules) are used to dissolve certain types of gallstones — specifically small, non-calcified cholesterol stones — in people who cannot have or prefer not to have gallbladder surgery. Capsules are also used to prevent gallstones from forming in people who are losing weight rapidly.

Ursodiol tablets — including Urso 250, Urso Forte, and generic ursodiol tablets — are indicated for the treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic liver disease that damages the bile ducts inside the liver.
