Caprobiotics Plus+ contains 12 active ingredients, most of them beneficial bacteria (probiotics) and prebiotics that support your gut health. You've got a mix of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species — L. salivarius, B. longum infantis, B. longum, L. bulgaricus, L. casei, B. animalis lactis, Streptococcus thermophilus, L. rhamnosus, and L. acidophilus DDS-1 — along with a couple of prebiotic blends and some goat milk–based ingredients (Capra Mineral Whey and Goat Milk Cream) that may help feed the good bacteria.
The product also includes chicory, which has a long history in herbal medicine. Beyond the active ingredients, there are a few inactive ingredients (fillers and capsule materials): hypromellose, gellan gum, rice flour, and silica.
Does it work?

The evidence for most of what's in this product is still being established. For Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1, the data suggests it's possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), H. pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis — though results vary.
Most of the other probiotic strains and chicory in this formula carry a rating of insufficient evidence, meaning the research hasn't yet confirmed whether they work for the conditions they're promoted for. That doesn't mean they don't work; it means the evidence just isn't solid enough yet to rate them reliably.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
The probiotic bacteria here are generally well tolerated in healthy people, but if you're seriously ill or have a weak immune system, you'll want to check with your doctor first. There have been rare cases of infection from these probiotics in people who are critically ill or immunocompromised, particularly premature infants — though this isn't common in otherwise healthy adults.
Mild gastrointestinal side effects (abdominal discomfort, bloating, flatulence, constipation) have been reported rarely. Chicory can cause gas and bloating, especially in sensitive people, and may trigger allergies in those with sensitivity to the ragweed family of plants.
Chicory safety in pregnancy is flagged as possibly unsafe in medicinal amounts, and there isn't enough data on breastfeeding — talk to your doctor before using if you're pregnant or nursing.

The most serious concern is with antibiotic drugs (Moderate severity). Since probiotics contain live organisms, taking antibiotics at the same time might kill off a significant portion of the probiotic bacteria, reducing how well they work.
This applies to three of the product's bacterial ingredients: Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium longum infantis, and Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1. You'll want to space out when you take antibiotics and this product.

Chicory in this formula also has a documented interaction with antidiabetes drugs (Moderate severity). Chicory may increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) when used alongside diabetes medications, since research suggests chicory itself has blood-sugar-lowering effects.

Probiotics Blend
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking antibiotic drugs with certain probiotics might decrease the effectiveness of probiotics.
Many probiotics are bacteria. Since these preparations usually contain live and active organisms, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of sensitive organisms. Human research shows that taking probiotic concurrently with antibiotic treatment does not affect the diversity of the gut microbiome compared with antibiotic treatment in the absence of probiotics. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and these preparations by at least two hours.
Antifungals
Theoretically, taking antifungals with certain probiotics might decrease the effectiveness of probiotics.
Some probiotics such as Saccharomyces boulardii are fungi. Therefore, simultaneously taking antifungals might kill a significant number of these organisms.
Chicory
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, chicory might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
Animal and in vitro research shows that chicory extracts have antidiabetic effects.
