Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: coenzyme Q10 at 200 mg per softgel capsule. Coenzyme Q10 (also called ubiquinone) is a compound your body makes naturally and uses to produce energy in cells.
The softgel also contains inactive ingredients including soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin, lecithin, and other excipients.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Coenzyme Q10 is likely effective for treating coenzyme Q10 deficiency itself. For other uses, the evidence is less certain — it's rated possibly effective for fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, congestive heart failure, and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage related to diabetes).
If you're considering it for one of those conditions, talk with your pharmacist or doctor about whether the current evidence supports it for your situation.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Coenzyme Q10 is generally well tolerated when taken as directed. The most common side effects, seen in less than 1% of people, are gastrointestinal — appetite loss, diarrhea, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting.
If you take doses above 100 mg daily, splitting them can help reduce these. Headache, dizziness, and insomnia have also been reported, along with rare reports of trembling and skin itching or rash.
There isn't enough reliable safety data about coenzyme Q10 in pregnancy, so it's best to avoid it unless your doctor specifically advises otherwise. Safety data while breastfeeding has not been well studied either — check with your doctor or pharmacist before use.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Warfarin (Coumadin) is the highest concern — coenzyme Q10 may reduce its blood-thinning effects. Also check before use if you take chemotherapy drugs, particularly alkylating agents, or any blood pressure medications.
No interactions are documented for coenzyme Q10 with other drug types we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Co Q-10 200 mg works best for people with confirmed coenzyme Q10 deficiency or those exploring it for migraine or heart-related concerns — but the evidence for those conditions is still emerging. If you take warfarin, chemotherapy, or blood pressure medication, you need to check your specific drugs before starting.
Talk with your pharmacist, especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any prescriptions.

Co Q-10 200 mg by Member's Mark Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Member's Mark Co Q-10 200 mg contains one active ingredient, coenzyme Q10, which does interact with some medications.
The most serious concern is warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner — coenzyme Q10 may reduce its ability to prevent clots. Four cases of decreased warfarin effectiveness tied to coenzyme Q10 have been reported in the literature.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Coenzyme Q10 may also interfere with certain chemotherapy drugs, particularly alkylating agents like cyclophosphamide used in cancer treatment. The antioxidant effects of coenzyme Q10 might theoretically protect cancer cells from drugs that work by creating oxidative stress.
Additionally, coenzyme Q10 could add to the blood-pressure-lowering effects of antihypertensive medications, though the clinical evidence is mixed.
Altogether, these interactions span 198 individual medications. If you take warfarin, chemotherapy, or blood pressure medication, run your exact drugs through the checker below before you start.

For each ingredient in Co Q-10 200 mg with known interactions, here are the types of medications it can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Coenzyme Q-10
Alkylating Agents
Coenzyme Q10 has antioxidant effects. Theoretically, this may reduce the activity of chemotherapy drugs that generate free radicals.
Theoretically, antioxidants such as coenzyme Q10 might protect tumor cells from chemotherapeutic agents that work by inducing oxidative stress, such as alkylating agents (e.g., cyclophosphamide) and radiation therapy. The clinical importance of this interaction is unknown.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Coenzyme Q10 is chemically similar to menaquinone and might have vitamin K-like procoagulant effects, which could decrease the effects of warfarin.
Concomitant use of coenzyme Q10 and warfarin might reduce the anticoagulant effects of warfarin. Four cases of decreased warfarin efficacy thought to be due to coenzyme Q10 have been reported. However, there is some preliminary clinical research that suggests coenzyme Q10 might not significantly decrease the effects of warfarin in patients who have a stable INR.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, coenzyme Q10 might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Some clinical research shows that coenzyme Q10 can significantly lower blood pressure, although other studies have shown conflicting results.
