Form-XT Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by LG Sciences
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Form-XT against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy
Form-XT is a dietary supplement by LG Sciences with 3 active ingredients. Its ingredients are commonly taken for lowering estrogen levels, post-cycle therapy after steroid or prohormone use, reducing gynecomastia ('gyno').Based on those ingredients, 823 medications have a known interaction with it, the most serious rated moderate. The ingredients most likely to interact are Resveratrol, Androst-3,5-diene-7,17-dione. Use the checker below to test your specific medication, or read the full HelloPharmacist Interaction Report.

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Form-XT contains 3 active ingredients. Androst-3,5-diene-7,17-dione (also called Arimistane) is a hormone-altering compound that works by inhibiting an enzyme involved in estrogen production.
Resveratrol is a plant compound found in grapes and red wine that's studied for effects on metabolism and inflammation. (-)-Epicatechin is a flavonoid from plants, but we don't hold interaction data for it. The product also contains inactive ingredients — microcrystalline cellulose, phosphatidylcholine, cyclodextrin, phytosterols, magnesium stearate, silica, and colorants — which are fillers and binders used to make the tablet.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for Arimistane is insufficient to rate it for athletic performance, muscle strength, erectile dysfunction, sexual arousal, or obesity — we simply don't have reliable data. For resveratrol, the picture is mixed: it's rated possibly effective for obesity and allergic rhinitis (hay fever), but possibly ineffective for heart disease and high cholesterol.
So resveratrol may help with a couple of those uses, but probably won't help with the others, and Arimistane's effectiveness for any of its intended uses isn't established in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Arimistane is flagged as a hormone-altering drug with little safety data, and regulators warn against taking aromatase inhibitor supplements — it carries real safety concerns. It is rated possibly unsafe in pregnancy and unsafe while breastfeeding.
Resveratrol is generally well tolerated at typical supplement doses, though high doses may cause digestive upset (diarrhea, loose stools, discomfort) and headache or fatigue; long-term safety at high doses isn't fully known. Resveratrol is rated likely safe in pregnancy and lactation, but concentrated supplements during pregnancy aren't recommended due to insufficient information.
A small number of people have reported skin rash or allergic reactions.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take any aromatase inhibitors (for cancer or hormone management), do not use this product — Moderate risk of low estrogen side effects and liver toxicity. Moderate caution applies to blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs like warfarin, aspirin, or clopidogrel (Plavix) — resveratrol may raise bleeding risk.
Resveratrol may also theoretically increase levels of medications metabolized by your liver's CYP1A2, CYP2C19, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4 enzymes; check with your pharmacist about your specific drugs. We could not check (-)-epicatechin for interactions.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This is a specialized product marketed for body composition and performance with limited evidence. Arimistane in particular carries significant safety concerns and a warning against use.
If you take a blood thinner, medications broken down by your liver, or an aromatase inhibitor, this product is not right for you without talking it through with your doctor or pharmacist first. Even if you don't take those, the hormone-altering nature and limited safety data mean you should discuss it with your own healthcare provider before starting.

Form-XT by LG Sciences Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Form-XT by LG Sciences contains two ingredients with documented interactions: Androst-3,5-diene-7,17-dione (Arimistane) and resveratrol.
The most serious concern is a Moderate interaction between Arimistane and aromatase inhibitors — drugs used to treat hormone-sensitive cancers or lower estrogen — because Arimistane itself inhibits the same enzyme, potentially raising the risk of low estrogen side effects and liver toxicity.

Resveratrol interacts with several medication types. It may increase blood levels of drugs broken down by your liver's CYP1A2, CYP2C19, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4 enzymes — a Moderate effect in theory, though human evidence is limited; one study at high doses (3,000 mg daily) showed no real-world dose adjustment was needed for CYP3A4 drugs.
Resveratrol also carries Moderate risk with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs like warfarin or aspirin because it may thin blood itself and raise bleeding risk.
We could not check (-)-epicatechin for interactions — no data are on file for it. Altogether, these interactions span 824 individual medications.
Before you start this product, run a search on this page for your exact medications, and talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you take a blood thinner, liver-metabolized drugs, or an aromatase inhibitor.

Resveratrol
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Resveratrol may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Resveratrol seems to have antiplatelet effects.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2E1.
In vitro research suggests that resveratrol inhibits CYP2E1 isoenzyme. Also, a pharmacokinetic study shows that taking resveratrol 500 mg daily for 10 days prior to taking a single dose of chlorzoxazone 250 mg increases the maximum concentration of chlorzoxazone by about 54%, the area under the curve of chlorzoxazone by about 72%, and the half-life of chlorzoxazone by about 35%. Chlorzoxazone is used as a probe drug for CYP2E1.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme. However, clinical research shows that taking resveratrol 3000 mg daily for 8 weeks does not necessitate dose adjustments to medications metabolized by CYP3A4.
Androst-3,5-diene-7,17-dione
Aromatase Inhibitors
It is believed that Arimistane inhibits the aromatase enzyme, which may interact with other aromatase inhibitors. This interaction could potentially increase the risk of side effects associated with low estrogen levels or from additive side effects, such as an increased risk of liver toxicity. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare provider before combining Arimistane with other aromatase inhibitors to assess the potential risks and benefits.
