Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: kiwi juice in powder form. There are no inactive ingredients listed.
You're getting a concentrated kiwi supplement, not just the juice you'd drink fresh.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence isn't established in our data for any of the conditions this product is marketed for. The facts note insufficient reliable evidence to rate kiwi for asthma, constipation, high blood pressure, and irritable bowel syndrome.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work—just that we don't have solid data to say either way.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Kiwi fruit itself is generally well tolerated when you eat it as food. However, the safety notes here tell you to talk with your doctor before using concentrated kiwi supplements like this powder, since supplement-strength products haven't been well studied.
Some people have allergic reactions to kiwi—ranging from itching and swelling of the lips, mouth, and throat, to more serious reactions like anaphylaxis or asthma flare-ups. Nausea, diarrhea, and acute inflammation of the pancreas have also been reported.
If you've never eaten kiwi or suspect you might be allergic, start cautiously and watch for any mouth or throat symptoms. The product is rated likely safe in pregnancy and lactation, but confirm that with your own doctor if you're pregnant or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check before taking this if you're on blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (aspirin, warfarin, clopidogrel, heparin, enoxaparin, and others)—kiwi may increase bleeding risk. Also check if you take blood pressure medications, since kiwi can lower blood pressure.
Talk it over with your doctor or pharmacist if you're on either type of drug.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This is a straightforward kiwi powder with no fillers. If you take blood thinners or blood pressure medications, you'll want to check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding it—the interactions are real and worth discussing.
Anyone with a kiwi allergy should avoid it entirely. For everyone else, the main question is whether the evidence supports using it for your goal, and right now that evidence isn't clear.

Kiwi Juice, Powder monograph & interactionsKiwi Juice Powder by TerraVita Premium Collection Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
TerraVita Premium Collection Kiwi Juice Powder interacts with two major categories of medications through its kiwi content.
The most serious concern is with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (Moderate severity): kiwi inhibits platelet aggregation, meaning it may increase your bleeding risk if you're taking aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), warfarin (Coumadin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, dalteparin (Fragmin), or ticlopidine (Ticlid).
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
The second interaction is with blood pressure medications (Moderate severity). Kiwi lowers blood pressure in people with hypertension, so combining it with antihypertensive drugs like captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), losartan, and others may push your blood pressure too low.
Altogether, these interactions span 289 individual medications. Before you start this powder, check your exact prescriptions against the search tool on this page, and talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you take any blood thinners, antiplatelet drugs, or blood pressure medications.

For each ingredient in Kiwi Juice Powder with known interactions, here are the types of medications it can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Kiwi Juice, Powder
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Clinical research suggests that kiwi inhibits platelet aggregation. Theoretically, kiwi might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs. Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Clinical research suggests that consuming kiwi reduces systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive individuals. Theoretically, concomitant use of kiwi and antihypertensive drugs may increase the risk of hypotension when used in combination with drugs that lower blood pressure. These include captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), losartan (Cozaar), valsartan (Diovan), diltiazem (Cardizem), amlodipine (Norvasc), hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDiuril), furosemide (Lasix), and many others.
