ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Aprocitentan
Aprocitentan falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Kiwi interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. Aprocitentan (Tryvio) is a blood pressure medicine, usually added on when other drugs haven't gotten your numbers where they need to be. Kiwi, eaten regularly, has been shown in some studies to nudge blood pressure down a little on its own. So the idea is that pairing the two could add up and push your pressure a bit lower than expected.
Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based on how each works, not something proven to cause problems together. Eating a kiwi or two as food is very unlikely to be an issue for most people. If you notice dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint (especially when standing up), mention it to your pharmacist or doctor. Don't change your medicine on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aprocitentan page
“Aprocitentan (Tryvio) is prescribed when blood pressure stays high despite other medicines, so anything that pushes your pressure around cuts straight to why you take it. Most of the 189 ingredients here do exactly that: some add to the drop and can leave you dizzy or faint, while others, tyramine among them, push pressure back up and…”

- Immune support
- Heart and cholesterol health
Kiwi is a nutritious fruit that is rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, and it is generally safe to eat as a food. People with a known kiwi or latex allergy should avoid it.
About Aprocitentan
What Is Aprocitentan Used For?
Brand name: Tryvio
Tryvio is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It is specifically for people whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on other blood pressure medications — it is always used together with at least one other antihypertensive drug, not on its own.
Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack. Tryvio has not been studied as a standalone treatment and is not intended to replace other blood pressure medicines.

Aprocitentan Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Aprocitentan as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Kiwi — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
