Calcium
Calcium is a vital nutrient found in various foods such as dairy products, certain vegetables, and many fortified items. Over 99% of the body's calcium is stored in the bones and teeth, predominantly as hydroxyapatite. The remaining calcium circulates in the blood, extracellular fluid, muscles, and other tissues, where it is essential for processes like nerve signaling, muscle contraction, vascular activities, glandular secretion, and maintaining cell membrane and capillary permeability. It also plays critical roles in enzyme reactions, respiration, kidney function, and blood clotting, and is involved in neurotransmitter and hormone release, amino acid uptake, vitamin B12 absorption, and gastrin secretion. Calcium balance changes with age: it is positive during periods of growth, stable in adulthood, and tends to become negative in older age. Calcium loss occurs through feces, urine, sweat, and shedding skin cells. In women, reduced estrogen levels decrease calcium absorption and retention, increase bone turnover, and lead to lower bone mass. Calcium supplements come in various forms, including citrate and carbonate, which differ mainly in their calcium content and absorption rates. Calcium citrate is easily absorbed and can be taken without food, making it suitable for older adults or those with low stomach acid. In contrast, calcium carbonate, which contains a higher percentage of calcium, is best absorbed when taken with meals.

Creatine Monohydrate
Description:Creatine is an organic amine that occurs naturally in the body and is also found in certain foods, such as meat and fish. It is stored mostly in the skeletal muscles, where it is used to generate energy during physical activity. Creatine is a popular over-the-counter dietary supplement, and some evidence suggests it is effective at improving exercise performance, particularly during high-intensity activities such as weightlifting and sprinting. However, the degree to which creatine supplements may improve exercise performance can vary depending on the individual and the type of physical activity being performed Creatine is generally well-tolerated but may cause some minor side effects, such as cramping and water retention in some individuals. Long-term use has been rarely linked to kidney problems, but its use is generally regarded as safe. There are several different forms of creatine available, with the most common form being monohydrate salt. Other salt forms, including di-creatine citrate and 'pH buffered' creatine, are also available.

Glycine
Description:Glycine is an amino acid found naturally in the body and is also available as a dietary supplement. It is considered a non-essential amino acid, meaning that the body can produce it on its own. Glycine supplementation has been studied for its potential to help improve sleep quality as it is purported to help to promote relaxation and reduce muscle tension. Some studies have also suggested that it may help to improve symptoms of sleep disorders such as insomnia. Glycine has also been studied for its potential to help with the management of some types of chronic pain, such as osteoarthritis, and for improving cognitive function.

Papain
Description:Papain is a proteolytic enzyme that is extracted from the papaya fruit. It is also known as papaya proteinase. Proteolytic enzymes are enzymes that break down proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids. Papain specifically breaks down proteins by hydrolyzing the peptide bonds that link amino acids together. Papain is used in a variety of applications, including food production, medicine, and biotechnology. Medically, papain can be used to remove dead tissue from wounds and to treat certain skin conditions. It has also been used to treat sports injuries, such as sprains and strains. Additionally, it is a common ingredient in digestive enzyme dietary supplements to aid in the digestion of proteins.

General Statements |
- If you’re serious about performance and results, you need the ALL NEW MuscleTech(R) Performance Series!
Just the Most Powerful Formulas Available
- The Most Powerful Protein Formula Ever Developed NITRO-TECH(R) is a scientifically engineered whey isolate+ lean musclebuilder formula designed for all athletes who are looking for more muscle, more strength and better performance. NITRO-TECH(R) contains protein sourced primarily from whey protein isolate – one of the cleanest and purest protein sources available to athletes. Other whey protein supplements might have only a few grams of this highly bioavailable and easily digested protein. NITRO-TECH(R) is also enhanced with the most studied form of creatine for faster gains in muscle and strength.
- Build More Lean Muscle Than Regular Whey Protein
Research conducted and published in a scientific journal shows that subjects using the core formula in NITRO-TECH(R) gained 8.8 lbs. of lean muscle in six weeks compared to subjects who used regular whey protein, who gained 5.1 lbs.
- Alanine is the second-most widely used amino acid in protein synthesis, after leucine, and is the primary amino acid for the production of usable glucose during intense training. Experts believe that supplementing with alanine post-workout can help combat muscle breakdown and promote protein synthesis.
Glycine is an amino acid which has been noted to play a role in the formation of many other biological compounds in the body, such as proteins and creatine, and even supports cell volumization.
Taurine is the second-most abundant amino acid found in muscle and aids in cell volumization.
Build More Strength Than Regular Whey Protein
Each scoop of NITRO-TECH(R) contains a research-proven dose (3 grams) of creatine monohydrate. Combined in NITRO-TECH(R), whey protein and creatine build more strength than regular whey protein. In one study, subjects using the whey/creatine combination in NITRO-TECH(R) increased their one-rep max bench press by 34 pounds, compared to only 14 pounds for subjects using regular whey protein.
- Ultra-Clean Protein Formula A single scoop of NITRO-TECH(R) contains 30 grams of protein, primarily from whey protein isolate, ultra-filtered whey protein concentrate and hydrolyzed whey protein isolate, with only 1 gram of carbs and 1.5 grams of fat! Most protein powders deliver significantly less protein per scoop while some protein formulas are loaded with fat and carbs. The whey protein in NITRO-TECH(R) has been filtered using Multi-Phase Filtration Technology for less fat, lactose and impurities than cheaper protein sources.
- Best-In-Class Taste Every flavor of NITRO-TECH(R) won in head-to-head third-party taste tests against leading competitors.
- Get More for Your Money Unlike the competition, Performance Series products contain superior key ingredients in clinically dosed amounts that are fully disclosed so you know exactly what you are paying for.
