by NATURELO Premium Supplements
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Probiotic 50 Billion CFU against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Probiotic 50 Billion CFU by NATURELO Premium Supplements
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This product has 11 active probiotic strains—six species of Lactobacillus and five of Bifidobacterium—plus four inactive ingredients (hypromellose, cellulose, rice fiber, and rice extract blend) that serve as fillers and capsule material. Each strain is a live, active microorganism designed to support your gut flora.
The label name "50 Billion CFU" refers to the total colony-forming units (a measure of viable organisms) across all these species combined.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence varies by strain and condition. L. acidophilus shows possible effectiveness for irritable bowel syndrome, H. pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
B. bifidum is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome and respiratory tract infections. For most other conditions listed—hay fever, asthma, cognitive decline, anxiety—the evidence we hold is insufficient to rate whether these strains help.
B. breve and L. gasseri show insufficient evidence for the conditions we checked, and B. longum likewise has insufficient evidence for the six conditions documented in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy people, though safety data are limited. Rare gastrointestinal side effects have been reported with individual strains, including abdominal discomfort, bloating, flatulence, and constipation.
In critically ill or immune-compromised patients, there is documented concern about rare but serious infections (bacteremia or sepsis) from the live organisms themselves—this is why caution is especially important if you're severely ill or have a weakened immune system. For pregnancy and lactation, L. acidophilus and B. bifidum are rated possibly safe, but data are insufficient for L. gasseri and B. breve; because safety information is limited across the board, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this probiotic if you're on antibiotic drugs (Moderate severity). Antibiotics can kill the live organisms in this supplement and reduce its effectiveness—spacing them several hours apart usually helps, but your healthcare provider can advise the best timing for your specific situation.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This probiotic blend may help with irritable bowel syndrome, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, or certain infections if the specific strains are right for your situation—but you'll want to confirm that with your own doctor. If you take antibiotics, the critical thing is to separate them in time so the live bacteria aren't killed off.
If you're seriously ill or immune-compromised, check with your doctor first. Your pharmacist can review your medications and advise on timing and whether this product is right for you.

Probiotic 50 Billion CFU by NATURELO Premium Supplements Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
NATURELO Premium Supplements Probiotic 50 Billion CFU contains several live bacterial strains—B. longum Bl-05, L. acidophilus LA-14, L. gasseri LG-36, and B. bifidum BB-06, plus B. breve BB-03—that all interact with antibiotic drugs.
The most serious concern is moderate: antibiotics can kill the live organisms in the probiotic, making it less effective. This happens because these are living microorganisms, and antibiotics don't discriminate between the beneficial bacteria in your supplement and harmful ones.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
We could not check several other ingredients in this blend—L. casei LC-11, L. paracasei LPC-37, L. salivarius LS-33, L. plantarum LP-115, L. rhamnosus KP-GG, and B. lactis Bi-07—because we hold no interaction data for them. Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications.
The key takeaway: if you're on antibiotics, space out when you take them and this probiotic. Your doctor or pharmacist can tell you the right timing—usually at least a few hours apart.
After you finish your antibiotics, wait a day or two before restarting the probiotic so the live cultures have a better chance to establish. Use the medication checker on this page to verify your exact prescriptions before you start.
