The evidence for Tibetan Magic eeTee's ingredients is limited. Sea buckthorn shows possibly effective evidence for burns, but possibly ineffective for eczema; for aging skin and dyslipidemia (high cholesterol), evidence is insufficient.
Cordyceps is possibly ineffective for athletic performance; for sexual dysfunction, COPD, asthma, lung cancer, and arrhythmia, data are insufficient. Rhodiola and goji have insufficient evidence for all the conditions we hold data on—including athletic performance, anxiety, arrhythmia, and cardiovascular disease.
Lotus lacks sufficient evidence for insomnia, nausea, bleeding, and other conditions listed. For most uses people consider this product, the evidence isn't established in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Sea buckthorn is generally well tolerated as a food, but supplement safety is not fully studied; high doses may cause yellow skin staining, and topical use rarely causes rash or irritation. Cordyceps is generally well tolerated short-term (up to one year), but evidence is limited and quality varies.
Most common side effects are abdominal discomfort, constipation, diarrhea, and dry mouth; one case of liver inflammation (cholestatic hepatitis) has been reported, though it's unclear whether cordyceps or a contaminant caused it. Rhodiola is generally well tolerated short-term but long-term safety is not well studied; dizziness and dry mouth or excessive saliva can occur.
Goji is generally safe as a food, but concentrated supplements have less safety data. Allergic reactions including rash, throat swelling, and rarely anaphylaxis have been reported; one case each of autoimmune liver inflammation and acute hepatitis have been reported, though causation is unclear.
Lotus is common as a food but supplement safety is not well studied; allergic reactions such as hives and contact dermatitis have occurred. Cordyceps, rhodiola, and lotus are best avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.
Goji should be avoided in medicinal amounts during pregnancy due to limited data and traditional reports of uterine effects; caution is advised while breastfeeding. Sea buckthorn safety during breastfeeding is not well studied.

Tibetan Magic is a unique, adaptogenic, instant energy drink designed for creative individuals and to support healthy aging. The main ingredient is Rhodiola sacra, a revered herb from Tibet.
Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions
Instructions: Add 2 g (approximately 1 teaspoon) of Tibetan Magic eeTee powder to 2-3 oz. of water, hot or room temperature, stir or shake until the powder completely dissolves. For iced tea, use room temperature water to dissolve the powder first then add ice. You may flavor the tea with sweeteners, fruits, or herbal tinctures. You may also adjust the amount of Tibetan Magic eeTee to your liking. 1-4 servings per day.

The most serious concern is goji (present as both Heaven Mountain Goji and Tibetan Black Goji), which carries a Major-severity interaction with warfarin (Coumadin) — goji can increase warfarin's blood-thinning effects and raise bleeding risk. Case reports show this happens when people drink goji juice or concentrated goji tea alongside warfarin.

Moderate interactions span multiple drug types. Sea buckthorn, cordyceps, rhodiola, goji, and lotus may increase bleeding risk when combined with blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (like aspirin or clopidogrel).
Rhodiola, goji, and lotus may lower blood pressure when used with blood-pressure medications. Goji interferes with how your liver breaks down several drug types—including heart rhythm drugs like flecainide (Tambocor)—potentially raising their levels.
Rhodiola has a similar effect on several enzyme systems. Cordyceps and rhodiola may interfere with medicines that suppress the immune system.

Tibetan Rhodiola
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, taking rhodiola with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In vitro and animal research shows that rhodiola extract can decrease blood glucose due to alpha-glucosidase activity.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, taking rhodiola with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
In vitro and animal research shows that rhodiola extract inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and might lower blood pressure.
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Substrates
Theoretically, rhodiola might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9.
In vitro research shows that rhodiola inhibits CYP2C9. This effect is highly variable and appears to be dependent on the rhodiola product studied. Also, a clinical study in healthy young males found that taking rhodiola extract 290 mg daily for 14 days reduces the metabolism of losartan, a CYP2C9 substrate, by 21% after 4 hours.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, rhodiola use might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
In vitro and animal research show that rhodiola has immunostimulatory effects.
Losartan (Cozaar)
Rhodiola might increase the levels and adverse effects of losartan.
A clinical study in healthy young males found that taking rhodiola extract 290 mg daily for 14 days reduces the metabolism of losartan, a CYP2C9 substrate, by 21% after 4 hours.
P-Glycoprotein Substrates
Theoretically, rhodiola might increase levels of P-glycoprotein substrates.
In vitro research shows that rhodiola inhibits P-glycoprotein. Theoretically, using rhodiola with P-glycoprotein substrates might increase drug levels and potentially increase the risk of adverse effects.
Antidepressant Drugs
Theoretically, rhodiola might increase the risk of adverse effects when taken with antidepressants.
A review of adverse event reports in Poland identified cases of tachyarrhythmias, myalgia, arthralgia, gum pain, restless leg syndrome, swallowing disorders, and changes in consciousness when rhodiola was taken in combination with paroxetine, escitalopram, fluoxetine, sertraline, trazodone, and/or duloxetine.
Cns Depressants
Theoretically, rhodiola might increase the risk of adverse effects when taken with CNS depressants.
A review of adverse event reports in Poland identified cases of excessive sedation, myoclonus, hypotension, and hallucinations when rhodiola was taken with haloperidol, diazepam, or alprazolam.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, rhodiola might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that rhodiola inhibits CYP1A2. This effect is highly variable and appears to be dependent on the rhodiola product studied. However, a clinical study in healthy young males found that taking rhodiola extract 290 mg daily for 14 days does not inhibit the metabolism of caffeine, a CYP1A2 substrate.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, rhodiola might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that rhodiola inhibits CYP3A4. This effect is highly variable and appears to be dependent on the rhodiola product studied. However, a clinical study in healthy young males found that taking rhodiola extract 290 mg daily for 14 days does not inhibit the metabolism of midazolam, a CYP3A4 substrate.
Heaven Mountain Goji
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Goji can increase the effects of warfarin and possibly increase the risk of bleeding.
There are at least 5 case reports of increased international normalized ratio (INR) in patients stabilized on warfarin who began drinking goji juice, concentrated goji tea, or goji wine. Goji may inhibit the metabolism of warfarin by cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9).
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, concomitant use of goji root bark, but not goji fruit, with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects.
Animal and in vitro research suggest that goji root bark has hypotensive effects. However, goji fruit juice does not appear to reduce systolic or diastolic blood pressure in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP2C19 and reduce metabolism of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro research shows that goji berry tincture and juice inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP2C19 substrates. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Substrates
Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP2C9 and reduce metabolism of CYP2C9 substrates.
In vitro research shows that goji berry tincture and juice inhibit CYP2C9 enzymes. Additionally, multiple case reports suggest that goji berry concentrated tea and juice inhibit the metabolism of warfarin, a CYP2C9 substrate. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP2C9 substrates.
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (Cyp2D6) Substrates
Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP2D6 and reduce metabolism of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that goji berry juice inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP2D6 substrates. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP3A4 and reduce metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that goji berry juice inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP3A4 substrates. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Flecainide (Tambocor)
Theoretically, goji berry might increase the levels and clinical effects of flecainide.
In one case report, a 75-year-old patient stable on flecainide and warfarin presented to the emergency room with fainting and pleomorphic arrhythmia caused by flecainide toxicity. Flecainide toxicity was attributed to drinking 1-2 glasses of concentrated goji tea daily for 2 weeks. Theoretically, goji may have inhibited the cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) metabolism of flecainide.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, concomitant use of goji fruit polysaccharides or goji root bark with antidiabetes drugs might have additive effects.
Animal and in vitro research show that goji root bark and fruit polysaccharides might have hypoglycemic effects. However, clinical research has only shown that taking goji fruit polysaccharides with or without antidiabetes drugs modestly reduces postprandial glucose when compared with control, with no reports of hypoglycemia.
Sea Buckthorn
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, sea buckthorn may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Clinical research suggests that sea buckthorn fruit extracts can inhibit platelet aggregation and adhesion to collagen and fibrinogen.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, taking sea buckthorn with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Taking sea buckthorn appears to reduce blood pressure in some patients.
Cordyceps, Cultured
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, cordyceps may increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
In vitro and animal research suggests that cordyceps extract inhibits platelet aggregation and function. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, concurrent use of cordyceps might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
Animal and in vitro research suggests that cordyceps stimulates the immune system. However, limited clinical research suggests that taking cordyceps may lower the necessary therapeutic dose of the immunosuppressant cyclosporine, which suggests that cordyceps may have an immunosuppressive effect.
Testosterone
Theoretically, concurrent use of cordyceps and testosterone might have additive effects.
Animal research suggests that cordyceps can increase testosterone levels. The clinical significance of this finding is unclear.
Tibetan White Snow Lotus
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, concurrent use of lotus with other antiplatelet drugs might reduce platelet aggregation and increase the risk of bleeding.
Neferine and isoliensinine, constituents of lotus, have been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation, in vitro. These constituents can inhibit the production of pro-aggregating factors like prostaglandins.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, lotus might have additive effects with antidiabetes drugs and increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Animal research shows that the ethanolic extract of lotus reduces blood glucose levels and potentiates the effects of injected insulin. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.
Pentobarbital (Nembutal)
Theoretically, taking lotus concomitantly with pentobarbital might increase sedation.
Animal research shows that lotus extract increases pentobarbitone-induced sleeping time. It is not known if this occurs in humans or if this effect occurs with other barbiturates or sedatives.
