TruBifidoPRO Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking TruBifidoPRO against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of TruBifidoPRO by Master Supplements
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
TruBifidoPRO contains 5 active ingredients: four Bifidobacterium species (longum infantis, two animalis lactis strains, and bifidum) plus a proprietary blend of probiotics. These are live beneficial bacteria designed to support your gut health.
The product also includes inactive ingredients like microcrystalline cellulose, sodium alginate, and silica as fillers and capsule materials.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Evidence for these Bifidobacterium strains is mixed. B. bifidum is rated possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and respiratory tract infections.
B. longum infantis, however, is rated possibly ineffective for age-related cognitive decline and sepsis. For other conditions like hay fever, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and anxiety, the evidence we hold is too limited to rate.
Talk with your doctor about whether this product fits your specific health goal.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
The Bifidobacterium species in this product are generally well tolerated in healthy people, but caution is warranted if you're critically ill, have a weakened immune system, or are very young. Rare cases of bacteremia (bacteria in the bloodstream) related to probiotic use have been reported, especially in critically ill infants and premature babies.
Bloating and flatulence can occur with probiotics in general. Because safety data are limited, check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting this supplement, especially if you have serious health conditions.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take antibiotics, double-check your timing with a pharmacist — probiotics and antibiotics shouldn't be taken at the same time. No other medication interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check, but we have no data for several of the Bifidobacterium strains in the blend.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
TruBifidoPRO is a multi-strain probiotic that may help with IBS and respiratory infections, but the evidence for other conditions is unclear. If you're taking antibiotics, time your doses carefully to avoid reducing the probiotics' effectiveness.
Anyone who is critically ill, immunocompromised, or very young should talk with their doctor first. Check your medications with our tool before you buy.

TruBifidoPRO by Master Supplements Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
TruBifidoPRO by Master Supplements contains live probiotic bacteria, and the checked ingredients do interact with one medication type.
The most serious concern is antibiotics — both Bifidobacterium longum infantis and Bifidobacterium bifidum can be killed by antibiotics taken at the same time, which would reduce how well the probiotics work. If you're on an antibiotic, space out your doses: take the antibiotic and this supplement several hours apart, or ask your pharmacist for specific timing.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Additionally, we hold no interaction data for three other Bifidobacterium animalis strains in this blend, so we couldn't check them against medications. Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications.
Before you start TruBifidoPRO, run your exact prescriptions through the checker below — especially if you take antibiotics regularly or are starting a new antibiotic course.
