Lisdexamfetamine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group 1,4-dmaa interacts with.

1,4-DMAA is thought to have stimulant and vasoconstrictive effects, which have been demonstrated in animal studies. Theoretically, taking 1,4-DMAA with stimulant drugs might increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular effects. Some stimulant drugs include amphetamine, caffeine, diethylpropion (Tenuate), methylphenidate, phentermine (Ionamin), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, others), and many others.

Here's the simple version: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is already a stimulant. Your body turns it into active amphetamine, which speeds up the brain and the heart. DMAA is another stimulant that acts a lot like adrenaline, raising heart rate and blood pressure and tightening blood vessels. Stacking two stimulants together can pile those effects on top of each other.

That means more racing heart, palpitations, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, and in serious cases a real strain on the heart. To be honest, this concern is based on how DMAA behaves chemically, not large human trials, so it's theoretical. But DMAA itself is something the FDA considers unsafe and we'd steer clear of it entirely. Please run any combination past your pharmacist or doctor first.
