Here's the gist for Nadolol: it's a beta blocker that already lowers your blood pressure and slows your heart rate. In animal studies, agmatine seemed to nudge blood pressure and heart rate down a bit too. So the worry is simply additive. If you stack agmatine on top of nadolol, the two could push in the same direction and lower your numbers more than you want.

What that might feel like is dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, unusual tiredness, or a heart rate that feels slower than normal. To be clear, this is a theoretical concern based on lab and animal work, not strong human data, so I wouldn't panic. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding agmatine, especially if your blood pressure already runs low.

What Is Nadolol Used For?

Brand names: Corgard, Nadolol

Nadolol tablets are used for two main conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina pectoris (ongoing chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). Lowering high blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack.

For high blood pressure, nadolol may be prescribed on its own or combined with other blood pressure medications, especially thiazide-type diuretics (water pills). For angina, it is used for long-term management to help reduce how often chest pain occurs.
