ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Reserpine
Reserpine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Agmatine interacts with.
Animal research suggests that agmatine can modestly decrease heart rate and blood pressure.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: Reserpine already lowers your blood pressure and slows your heart rate by calming the nervous system. Agmatine, at least in animal studies, seems to nudge things in the same direction (a little lower blood pressure, a slightly slower heartbeat). Stacking two things that both push blood pressure down could, in theory, push it down too far.
If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or faint when you stand up. I want to be honest with you though: this concern comes from lab and animal research, not solid human studies, so it's more a 'keep an eye out' than a red alert. Please don't change your reserpine on your own. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding agmatine.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Reserpine page
“Reserpine (Serpasil, Sandril) lowers blood pressure, and the 138 supplements and herbs listed here merit real vigilance, four of them rated major. Most pull in one of two directions: many common supplements lower pressure on their own and can add to reserpine's effect, dropping it too far, while a smaller group raises pressure and work…”

- General well-being
Agmatine is a compound your body makes from the amino acid arginine, and it is sold mainly as a workout and 'pump' supplement. About Reserpine
What Is Reserpine Used For?
Brand names: Serpasil, Sandril
-
Reserpine is used to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to treat severe agitation in patients with mental disorders. Reserpine is in a class of medications called rauwolfia alkaloids. It works by slowing the activity of the nervous system, causing the heartbeat to slow and the blood vessels to relax.
-
High blood pressure is a common condition and when not treated, can cause damage to the brain, heart, blood vessels, kidneys and other parts of the body. Damage to these organs may cause heart disease, a heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, loss of vision, and other problems. In addition to taking medication, making lifestyle changes will also help to control your blood pressure. These changes include eating a diet that is low in fat and salt, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising at least 30 minutes most days, not smoking, and using alcohol in moderation.

Natural Medicines records Reserpine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Agmatine — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
