Your Uniretic combines two blood pressure medicines: hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill, and moexipril, an ACE inhibitor. The water pill works by helping your body shed extra fluid and salt. American spikenard has a traditional reputation for making you sweat more (that's the "diaphoretic" part), so in theory the two together could pull a bit more fluid out of you than the pill alone.

If that happened, you might feel lightheaded, extra thirsty, tired, or get muscle cramps, and your sodium or potassium could drift off balance. I'll be honest though: this is a minor, theoretical concern with very weak evidence behind it. It's not a reason to panic, just something to mention to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and stay well hydrated.
