Levomilnacipran falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Atractylodes interacts with.

Theoretically, atractylodes might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates.
In animals, atractylodes administered at high doses has been shown to inhibit CYP3A1 activity, which is a homolog to the human CYP3A4 enzyme. This effect has not been shown in humans.

Here's the gist for Fetzima (levomilnacipran). Your body clears this antidepressant partly through a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In animal studies, high doses of atractylodes seemed to slow down a similar enzyme. If that were to happen in people, your levomilnacipran might break down more slowly and build up a bit, which could nudge up its usual side effects like nausea, a faster heart rate, higher blood pressure, sweating, or trouble sleeping.

That said, this is only a theoretical concern based on lab and animal work, and it hasn't been shown in humans, so the real-world risk looks small. Levomilnacipran is not a prodrug, so it doesn't flip the other way. Still, before combining them, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up.
