Ganaxolone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) interacts with.

Theoretically, BMPEA might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA inhibits CYP3A4 by up to 37%.

Ganaxolone (Ztalmy) is a seizure medicine that your liver clears largely through an enzyme called CYP3A4. BMPEA appears to partly block that enzyme in lab studies, so in theory it could slow how fast you clear ganaxolone and let levels creep up. If that happened, you might feel more of the drug's usual effects, like drowsiness, dizziness, trouble concentrating, or feeling unsteady.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this is theoretical, based only on a test-tube study showing partial enzyme blocking, not on real patients. On top of that, BMPEA is an unapproved stimulant with its own heart risks, so I'd steer clear of it regardless. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing anything new with your ganaxolone.
