Esomeprazole, Naproxen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Bilberry interacts with.

Theoretically, bilberry fruit extract might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro, animal, and clinical research suggest that anthocyanidin extracts from bilberry can inhibit platelet aggregation.

Vimovo combines naproxen (an NSAID pain reliever) with esomeprazole (a stomach acid blocker that's added to help protect your gut). The naproxen part is the piece that matters here. Like other NSAIDs, naproxen can make platelets a bit less sticky and can irritate the stomach lining, so it already carries some bleeding risk on its own.

Bilberry, in lab and animal studies, also seems to make platelets clump together less easily. Put the two together and, in theory, you could see a slightly higher chance of bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach bleeding. Keep in mind this concern comes mostly from test-tube and animal research, not strong human studies. Eating bilberries as food is unlikely to matter, but concentrated supplements are worth running by your pharmacist or doctor first.
