Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ORAL DRUGS
Why this applies to Asciminib
Asciminib falls under ORAL DRUGS — the group Blond Psyllium interacts with.
Psyllium seems to have variable effects on drug absorption. To avoid changes in absorption, take psyllium 30-60 minutes after oral medications. Animal research shows that blond psyllium delays and increases the absorption of metformin and ethinyl estradiol. Conversely, case reports and animal research suggest that blond psyllium might reduce absorption of lithium, digoxin, olanzapine, and carbamazepine. Finally, some pharmacokinetic studies show that psyllium does not affect the absorption of levothyroxine or warfarin.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with Scemblix (asciminib) and blond psyllium: this is a fiber interaction, not a liver enzyme one. When psyllium swells into its thick gel in your gut, it can sometimes grab onto a pill that's sitting there and change how much gets absorbed. The honest truth is the effect is unpredictable. With some medicines it slows or boosts absorption, with others it lowers it, and with several it does nothing at all. Asciminib hasn't been specifically studied here, so this is more theoretical than proven.
The easy fix is timing. Take your asciminib first, then wait about 30 to 60 minutes before your psyllium. That keeps the fiber from interfering. Since asciminib is a cancer therapy, don't change anything on your own. Just run your fiber routine by your oncology pharmacist or doctor so your dosing stays on track.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Asciminib page
“Asciminib (Scemblix) treats chronic myeloid leukemia, and a steady blood level is what keeps the cancer suppressed, so this list deserves real care rather than a quick skim. Seventeen of the 31 supplements on file are fibers, gums, and charcoals that can block or slow how much of each pill your gut actually absorbs.”

About Asciminib
What Is Asciminib Used For?
Brand name: Scemblix
Scemblix (asciminib) is used to treat adult patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic phase (Ph+ CML-CP) — a type of blood cancer driven by an abnormal protein called BCR-ABL1. It covers three groups: people newly diagnosed with Ph+ CML-CP, people who have already been treated for Ph+ CML-CP, and people whose cancer carries a specific mutation called T315I that makes it harder to treat.
The use in newly diagnosed Ph+ CML-CP was approved under accelerated approval based on early response data. Continued approval for that specific use may depend on results from confirmatory trials confirming long-term clinical benefit.
