Aspirin, Codeine Phosphate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Boswellia Serrata interacts with.

Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes.

Here's the wrinkle with this combo: the codeine part of your tablet is actually a prodrug. Your body has to convert codeine into morphine using an enzyme called CYP2D6 before you feel much pain relief. Boswellia has been shown, in lab dish studies only, to slow that same enzyme down.

So if anything, boswellia could mean less morphine gets made, and your pain medicine may not work as well. The flip side is that's the opposite of dangerous buildup. I'll be honest though, this is purely theoretical based on test-tube data, not real people, so it may not matter at all in practice. Casual joint-supplement use is unlikely to be a big deal, but check with your pharmacist if your pain relief feels off.
