Broccoli + Estrogen
Estrogen brand name: Estrogen.
Broccoli has a moderate interaction with Estrogen. Theoretically, broccoli might reduce the levels and effects of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Estrogen
Estrogen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Broccoli interacts with.
Pharmacokinetic research in humans shows that eating 500 grams of fresh broccoli daily for 6-12 days can increase CYP1A2 activity by 10% to 200%. Induction of CYP1A2 activity by broccoli is attributed to its glucosinolate constituents.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: your body uses an enzyme called CYP1A2 to help break down estrogen. Broccoli, especially in large amounts, can speed that enzyme up. When the enzyme works faster, your estrogen may get cleared a little quicker, which could make it slightly less effective. In practice that might mean hot flashes, night sweats, or vaginal dryness creeping back if levels drop enough.
Now, the honest part: this is mostly theoretical, and the human study used about 500 grams of fresh broccoli daily for several days. Enjoying broccoli at normal mealtimes is very unlikely to throw off your estrogen. The bigger question mark is concentrated broccoli supplements or extracts. If you're considering those, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

Natural Medicines records Estrogen as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Broccoli — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
