Aripiprazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bulbine Natalensis interacts with.

Theoretically, Bulbine natalensis stem might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Bulbine natalensis stem extract induces CYP3A4 mRNA expression and enzyme activity. Theoretically, this may increase the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates, but this has not been studied in humans.

Here's the gist for aripiprazole (Abilify): your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help break it down. In lab and test-tube studies, Bulbine natalensis appeared to speed that enzyme up. If that holds true in people, it could clear aripiprazole out of your system a little faster, meaning lower blood levels and possibly a weaker effect. For someone using it to keep schizophrenia, bipolar mania, or depression steady, that could look like symptoms creeping back, more mood swings, or feeling less stable.

I want to be honest, though: this is theoretical and based only on lab work, not real human studies, so we don't know if it matters in practice. Given the liver concerns with this supplement too, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.
