Naproxen, Sumatriptan falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Bupleurum interacts with.

Theoretically, bupleurum might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro research suggests that saikosaponins, constituents of bupleurum, can inhibit platelet aggregation.

Treximet combines two medicines: naproxen (an NSAID pain reliever) and sumatriptan (a migraine medicine). The part that matters here is the naproxen. Like other NSAIDs, naproxen can thin the blood a little and irritate the stomach lining, which raises the chance of bruising or bleeding, especially in the gut.

The concern with bupleurum is that lab studies suggest one of its compounds (saikosaponins) may keep platelets from clumping together, which is part of how blood clots. Stacked on top of naproxen, the worry is a slightly higher bleeding risk, things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset. Keep in mind this is theoretical, based only on test-tube research, not real patient cases. Still, it is worth mentioning to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
