Here's the simple version: Segluromet combines ertugliflozin (which makes you pee out extra sugar) and metformin (which lowers how much sugar your liver makes). Both already work to bring your blood sugar down. Some lab and animal studies hint that cabbage might gently nudge blood sugar lower too. So in theory, eating a lot of it could add to your medication's effect and raise the small chance of low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling foggy).

That said, this is only theoretical, and normal food-sized servings of cabbage on your plate are very unlikely to cause a problem. If you plan to take concentrated cabbage supplements or eat unusually large amounts, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up first.
