Brigatinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INHIBITORS — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inhibitors might increase the levels and clinical effects of cannabinol.
In vitro research shows that CYP3A4 enzymes are involved in the 8-hydroxylation of cannabinol. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the key thing to understand about this pairing: the concern runs in one direction. Brigatinib can act as a mild blocker of an enzyme called CYP3A4, and lab studies suggest that same enzyme helps break down CBN. So in theory, taking brigatinib alongside CBN could let CBN build up a bit, making its effects (like drowsiness or grogginess) stronger. Brigatinib itself isn't a prodrug, so its cancer-fighting action shouldn't be changed by CBN here.

I want to be honest about the evidence, though: this is only from test-tube research and hasn't actually been seen in people. Still, since brigatinib treats a serious cancer, please loop in your oncologist or pharmacist before adding CBN so nothing complicates your care.
