Here's the gist for Oseni, which is a combo of alogliptin and pioglitazone that lowers your blood sugar. Colocynth seems to push blood sugar down on its own, so stacking it on top of your diabetes medicine could drop your levels too far. That's the worry here, an added blood-sugar-lowering effect, not a problem with how your body breaks the drug down. Watch for signs of a low: shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or a fast heartbeat.

This comes from a few small studies, so the evidence is on the lighter side. But honestly, the bigger concern is colocynth itself, it's quite toxic even in small amounts. I'd steer clear and chat with your doctor or pharmacist before trying anything with it.
