Your Corzide is a combo of bendroflumethiazide (a water pill) and nadolol (a beta blocker). Here's the concern with colocynth: it's a harsh laxative, and laxatives can flush potassium out of your body. Your thiazide diuretic already lowers potassium on its own, so stacking the two could push your potassium lower than it should go.

Low potassium can bring on muscle cramps, weakness, fatigue, and even irregular heartbeats. I'll be honest, this particular interaction is theoretical, based on how each works rather than solid human studies. But the bigger issue is that colocynth itself is genuinely toxic, and most pharmacists, myself included, would steer you away from it entirely. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist before using any product containing it.
