Cephalothin falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Dendrobium interacts with.

The dendrobium constituent dendrobine is reported to have convulsant effects. Theoretically, combining dendrobium with pro-convulsant drugs might increase the risk of seizure. Some drugs that lower the seizure threshold include anesthetics (propofol, others), antiarrhythmics (mexiletine), antibiotics (amphotericin, penicillin, cephalosporins, imipenem), antidepressants (bupropion, others), antihistamines (cyproheptadine, others), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine), narcotics (fentanyl, others), stimulants (methylphenidate), theophylline, and others.

Here's the gist of it. Cephalothin is an injectable cephalosporin antibiotic, and like other drugs in that family, it can slightly lower the seizure threshold, meaning it can make seizures a touch more likely in people who are already prone to them, especially at high doses or with reduced kidney function. Dendrobium contains a compound called dendrobine that, in lab settings, has shown convulsant (seizure-triggering) activity.

So the concern is simply additive: stacking two things that each nudge toward seizures. I want to be upfront, though, this is theoretical, based on how these compounds behave rather than real reports in people. Still, since you usually receive Cephalothin in a hospital or clinic, it's worth mentioning any Dendrobium use to your pharmacist or doctor so they can weigh it for you.
