Cloxacillin Sodium falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Dendrobium interacts with.

The dendrobium constituent dendrobine is reported to have convulsant effects. Theoretically, combining dendrobium with pro-convulsant drugs might increase the risk of seizure. Some drugs that lower the seizure threshold include anesthetics (propofol, others), antiarrhythmics (mexiletine), antibiotics (amphotericin, penicillin, cephalosporins, imipenem), antidepressants (bupropion, others), antihistamines (cyproheptadine, others), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine), narcotics (fentanyl, others), stimulants (methylphenidate), theophylline, and others.

Here's the gist for cloxacillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic used for skin and soft tissue infections caused by staph. Like other penicillins, cloxacillin can slightly lower the seizure threshold, especially at very high doses or in people who already have kidney problems or a history of seizures. Dendrobium contains a compound called dendrobine that, in lab and animal work, has shown convulsant (seizure-promoting) activity. So in theory, pairing the two could nudge the seizure risk a little higher.

I want to keep this in perspective. This warning is theoretical, based on how these substances behave, not on real-world reports of people having problems together. For most healthy folks taking a normal antibiotic course, it's likely a non-issue. Still, since dendrobium safety isn't well studied, run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
