Here's the thing about Hadlima (adalimumab-bwwd): it's a biologic that works by blocking a specific inflammatory signal called TNF (tumor necrosis factor). That's how it calms down conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn's disease. Elderberry, on the other hand, has been shown in lab work to boost immune signals, including TNF and other cytokines. So in theory, they could be pulling in opposite directions, and elderberry might blunt some of the benefit you're getting from your injections.

I want to be honest with you though: this is mostly a theoretical concern based on lab and limited data, not real-world proof that elderberry causes flares. It's not a danger, just something worth mentioning to your doctor or pharmacist before you add a daily elderberry supplement.
