    A small preliminary clinical study in patients with hormone refractory prostate cancer shows that adding ellagic acid 60 mg every 8 hours orally during and in between chemotherapy cycles with vinorelbine and estramustine for 6 weeks reduces neutropenia, possibly indicating better tolerance to chemotherapy.

What Is Flutamide Used For?

Eulexin (flutamide) capsules are used to treat prostate cancer in men. They are always used together with an LHRH agonist (a hormone-lowering injection), never alone.
