Evodia has demonstrated dose-dependent activity as a proarrhythmic agent in animal and in vitro studies. Evodia infusion in animals extends the action duration potential and induces prolongation of the QT interval and Torsade de pointes.

Here's the gist for Artemether, an antimalarial that can already nudge your heart's electrical timing (what doctors call the QT interval). Evodia has shown a similar effect in lab and animal studies, slowing how the heart resets between beats. Stacking two things that do this could, in theory, add up and raise the risk of an irregular heartbeat. Warning signs would be feeling your heart race or skip, dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this concern comes from test tube and animal research only, not from people taking both together. So it's a theoretical caution, not a proven danger. Still, since heart rhythm is involved, I'd run it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them rather than guessing.
