Artemether falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Here's the concern with pairing cesium and artemether. Both can affect your heart's electrical timing, what we call the QT interval. Artemether (often combined with lumefantrine to treat malaria) is already known to nudge the QT interval longer. Cesium does the same thing, and on its own it has been linked to dangerous rhythm problems, including a serious one called torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and even death.

Stacking two QT-prolonging substances can add up and raise the risk of a fast, chaotic heartbeat. To be honest, the evidence here is anecdotal and partly theoretical, but cesium's heart risks are real enough that I'd steer clear of it entirely. Please don't change your artemether on your own, talk with your doctor or pharmacist first.

What is Cesium?

Cesium chloride is a mineral salt sold as an alternative cancer therapy ('high pH therapy'), but there is no reliable scientific evidence that it treats cancer or any other disease.
