Aripiprazole falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Here's the concern with this pairing. Cesium chloride on its own can stretch out a part of your heart's electrical cycle called the QT interval. Aripiprazole (Abilify) can also nudge the QT interval a little longer. Stack the two together and you raise the odds of a dangerous heart rhythm called torsades de pointes, which can cause fainting, cardiac arrest, or even death.

I want to be honest about the evidence: this is largely theoretical and based on case reports, not solid studies. But cesium itself is genuinely risky and has no proven benefit, so I'd steer clear of it entirely. Please don't change your aripiprazole, and talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using any cesium product.

Aripiprazole treats several mental health conditions. It is approved for schizophrenia, acute manic and mixed episodes of Bipolar I Disorder, and as an add-on to antidepressants for Major Depressive Disorder.
