Ivosidenib falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Here's the concern with pairing cesium and ivosidenib. Ivosidenib already carries a known risk of prolonging your QT interval, which is a measure of how your heart's electrical system resets between beats. When that interval stretches too far, it can trigger a dangerous rhythm called torsades de pointes. Cesium chloride has been linked to the very same problem, including reports of cardiac arrest and death.

So stacking the two together could add up and raise your odds of a serious arrhythmia. Honestly, cesium has no proven cancer benefit and real heart dangers on its own, so there's little reason to take that gamble. Please don't add it, and talk with your oncologist or pharmacist before starting any supplement.

What is Cesium?

Cesium chloride is a mineral salt sold as an alternative cancer therapy ('high pH therapy'), but there is no reliable scientific evidence that it treats cancer or any other disease. It can cause dangerous heart rhythm problems and even death, so it should not be used. About Ivosidenib

What Is Ivosidenib Used For?

Brand name: Tibsovo

Tibsovo (ivosidenib) is used to treat adults who have a susceptible IDH1 mutation, confirmed by an FDA-approved test. It treats newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults 75 or older, or those who cannot tolerate intensive chemotherapy — either alone or combined with a medicine called azacitidine. It also treats relapsed or refractory AML (AML that has come back or stopped responding to treatment) and relapsed or refractory myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).

Tibsovo is also approved for adults with previously treated, locally advanced or metastatic cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer that has spread) who carry an IDH1 mutation.
