Metronidazole falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Here's the concern with mixing cesium and metronidazole (Flagyl). Both can affect your heart's electrical timing, something called the QT interval on an EKG. Metronidazole on its own can occasionally stretch out that interval, and cesium is known to do the same, sometimes badly. Stacking two together could raise the risk of a dangerous, fast heart rhythm called torsades de pointes, which can cause fainting, cardiac arrest, or worse.

Honestly, the bigger issue is cesium itself. It has no proven benefit for any illness and has caused deaths on its own. I would not take it at all. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining anything with your antibiotic.

Metronidazole treats three main types of infections. It's used for trichomoniasis (a sexually transmitted parasitic infection), amebiasis (an intestinal or liver infection caused by a parasite), and serious anaerobic bacterial infections — infections caused by bacteria that thrive without oxygen, which can affect the abdomen, skin, bones, lungs, and other areas.

Because sexual partners can pass trichomoniasis back and forth, both partners are typically treated at the same time, even if one has no symptoms.
